One of my most unique tracks, originally released in 2018 as part of the Extended Play 'Overcome'.
When that album got released, I asked my best friend Damon and Shayne what their favorite song off the release was, and this was their response.
Afterwards, it sorta stuck to me too. It was an outlier in comparison to the other tracks alongside it, which made it unique.
"Searching" can hardly be recognized as a rock song. In fact, I'm not really sure what genre it fits into. I'd say it could be defined as "alternative" but that's only because I can't really place it elsewhere. The continuous drum beat and the ominous synth-guitar set a mood for some progressive rock or perhaps a soundtrack to an indie video game.
No matter how you look at it, "Searching" is different, and I'm proud of this work.
